The fine print
This answering machine is a small personal project. Here's what happens to what you leave on it.
What's saved
Your voice recording, the name you give, and how you'd like to be contacted (an email address or phone number, if you give one). To stop spam, a scrambled fingerprint of your internet address is stored too. It can't be turned back into the address.
Who hears it
Only the owner of this machine. Messages are never published, sold or shared. Your email or phone number is used only to get back to you about your message.
Replies
If you ask for a message back, you get a private link. Anyone with that link can hear the reply, so keep it to yourself.
Deleting
The owner erases messages from time to time. If you'd like yours deleted sooner, just ask: leave another message, or get in touch through the owner's website.
